I know boycotting is hard, but the best thing we can do if we really care about our artists is to BOYCOTT HYBE.Not only has HYBE been mistreating its idols and staff, they have also been sacrificing them to cover up and distract the audience (that's you) on the many morally wrong things the company has done. Let's start with the catalyst of why I decided to speak up more on HYBE's actions.As of the 10th of March, 2026, a member of ENHYPEN, Lee Heeseung, has left the group to pursue a solo career under BE:LIFT. While ENGENES should remain supportive of his solo career, there is much evidence to suggest that he did not leave the group under his own accord. Such evidence includes:

1. Directly from his farewell letter to ENGENE: "After thinking about it for a long time, I made a big decision to approach ENGENE in a better way according to the direction the company suggested." It is heavily implied here that it was mainly the company’s choice and order on his departure. Why would they suggest him leaving the group when so many other idols in other groups (not to clash these groups or cause fights between the fandoms, just providing evidence) FROM THE SAME BRANCHES OF COMPANY (ex. YEONJUN of TOMORROW X TOGETHER, YUNJIN of LE SSERAFIM) are soloists and remain in their group?2. It is said that 2 days before this surprising departure-Heeseung was publicly excited and talking to his fans about their upcoming Europe tour-someone who has been thoughtfully contemplating on leaving the group and then being excited about a future tour is just not a logical set of events to occur in the span of 48 hours. We obviously don’t personally know Heeseung, but why would he impulsively leave the group?3. Between the 8th of March and the 10th (Heeseung leaving), there is minute detail of all the members of ENHYPEN being DEAD SILENT on Weverse, where they can post photos and talk to their fans. While it is normal for them to not be active everyday, it is a bit weird (and correct me if I am stretching) that between these 2 days there are no posts, no photos, or no comments or communication between the members or fans on Weverse AT ALL. Usually when they don't post photos, they're active in the comments, and vice versa.4. Multiple ENGENES have spread the message that an employee from HYBE has reported seeing Heeseung be openly upset in the building. They have also said that workers have openly mistreated members like JUNGWON, SUNOO, and NIKI, and another member might be removed from the group-most likely one of these three targets. Also-Heeseung physically cannot leave on his own behalf without the company having the final say, as he would theoretically still be under the contract signed and he would be breaking the contract. A VERY prominent example to this that also helps enforce the case of HYBE’s mistreatment is how Newjeans cannot leave ADOR due to their contract-and why they have stated Danielle was kicked out of the group for ‘breaking the contract’ as that would be the only plausible reason for her to have departed from the group against her will without it sounding immoral or aggressive.
Heeseung isn’t the only artist under HYBE to be mistreated. As of recently, MANON of the global girl group KATSEYE has been put under hiatus due to ‘health reasons’ even when she has spoken out saying she is perfectly fine-this is a common way for companies to quietly kick a member out of a group. Manon has also faced racism and mistreatment ever since Dream Academy, and her liking posts about this situation back this up drastically-it just can’t be ignored.HYBE cannot care enough to properly protect their young idols either. During ILLIT’s debut era, the start of the Newjeans case unraveling, they faced brutal backlash and hate for copying their concept (company’s fault, not the groups/members) and for their lack of quality in vocal aspects. 2 of their members were minors at the time as well. This also applies to ENHYPEN’s NIKI, who has faced horrible backlash rewinding back to his debut days as well-when he was still a MINOR (competed in I-LAND at the age of 14). LE SSERAFIM’S GARAM is also a major point, as several aspects prove that her removal was planned to bring more attention to the group through the DRAMA of a bullying scandal-which they obviously did not protect her from. Garam was only 17 at the time.
I have a lot to cover, so I am going to link it. There is so much more evidence I wish I could cover, and to me that just proves how much this company has done. Whether HYBE has shown mistreatment to your favorites in front of the cameras or not, I promise you, not a single one is being treated right. A group like BTS was peer pressured to renew because they were told they'd be "ruining peoples lives" if they didn't. Any idol who speaks or spoke up about what this company, or any company, has done to them deserves nothing but support for being brave against an industry so much stronger than them. Always remember, YOUR IDOLS ARE HUMAN TOO.

We know how much you enjoy these talented people and the groups they belong to-their bonds, their effort, and their performances. We do too. This is why boycotting is so important. If we all work together, we solely believe there is a chance of finding a better future for not just HYBE but slowly every industry, until hopefully every artist's potential is used and rewarded right, with no behind the scenes cruelty. Nothing is going to change if we just keep feeding money to the company by streaming their music that the idols have been working hard on. There is much more to say, much more to add, but also much more to do. While we can’t do much, we still have methods of fighting back. But it’ll only work if we do it as a whole. 2 people won’t work, nor 100. We need to take a toll on HYBE to show them that we aren’t okay with what they are doing at all. This includes refraining from using audios by them for your socials, playing any official videos or audios, and buying first hand merch and cds, as they heavily benefit off of the royalties and profit from both their digital and physical media counterparts. Please, for the sake of the idols who may have saved you, save them too, by paying a small price of avoiding anything that pays the company. We can show HYBE that we can do much more to their company as a fanbase. It may seem small, but the more we boycott, the larger our message grows, and hopefully brings back humanity in it all. They believe that they have all the power, which is why they don't care anymore that they are immoral. But if we have our morals, we can have even more power than them. Please share this message with anyone you know that likes a group or artist under this company.
